Priya is choreographer and performer of Indian folk fusion style of dance that takes influence from Bharatanatyam, Indian folk dances and folklore with a contemporary touch. To create a distinctive movement vocabulary she also teaches and performs Bollywood and Indian folk dance inspired choreographies. She founded Piah Dance Company in 2011 with the idea of spreading Indian contemporary and folk dances designed for modern audiences. Her Youtube channel has over 62000subscribers and 20 million views till date. She was also seen on TV as a top12 finalists at  Zee Dance India Dance Season 5 and Zee Main Hoon Michael.
